Wanna go for a swim?

Hi everyone!

Well, this week we got another baptism. Her name is Tere and we've been working with her for about three weeks now. It's super cool to finally see her baptized. The baptismal service went well and everything. I feel like we all felt the Spirit there. We had other baptisms planned for yesterday, but they ended up falling through. One we have to drop because he's not progressing and we're hoping that the other will finally get baptized this coming weekend. We'll see what happens I guess!

Other than that, not much new has happened. We still don't have a cell phone and I'm still trying to be patient with Elder Wheeler. I'd say I've been pretty good because I've managed not to voice my criticism... my thoughts are another thing... My motto right now is: If you can't say nothin' nice, don't say nothin' at all. :P Things are getting better, but sometimes he just does things that I don't understand. Two of my pet peeves are wasting time and doing pointless things. Elder Wheeler tends to do a lot of things that (at least in my opinion) are pointless and waste time.... Oh well, overall things are going well.

It's gotten suuuuper hot here! I've never sweated so much in my entire life! You know it's hot when you start sweating just from sitting around. I always have to be sure to drink a lot of water whenever I can because I always sweat it out. When it starts getting hot in Utah, you guys can't complain at all. Heat in Utah is nothing like the heat here!

Mom - Glad to hear that you're still enjoying work. I understand about not wanting to exercise because of the weather. Over here it's so hot that the last thing I want to do is work up a sweat. That's what we do all day! Anyways, I'm trying to add some pictures to this e-mail along with a few on dropbox. As for your questions: my health is good.  I've been a little tired lately too, but I think that's just the heat getting to me. My feet are calloused, but fine. My clothes have a couple spots and small tears here and there, but nothing big. Just the usual wear and tear.  I love you Mom and I love hearing from you. Take care. :) Love you tons! :)

Dad - Thanks for keeping me updated on what happens at home. That colt sounds like a handful. Just gotta be patient right? I keep thinking of the movie "The Mummy" when the girls says patience is a virtue and the main character says Not right now it isn't! Haha, but things are cool. I really appreciate your advice. I hope you're enjoying your work and taking the time to horse around with the boys. ;) I love you Dad. Keep the Lord close. :)

Well, that's about it. The church is true. Christ lives and loves every one of us. There have been some really good articles in the Liahona lately. I hope you guys are still reading the BoM together and having Family Home Evening. Don't underestimate the little things in the Gospel. Stay true to the Lord and He'll stay true to you! I love you all! Stay safe!

Love,
-Elder Sean Horrocks
